Opus North, based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire is one of the regions most active and successful property companies, specializing in commercial property development and active asset management.

The company has a long track record of developing and asset managing property across the North East. It is backed by the property venture capital and fund management business Palmer Capital Partners, based in London.

The business is principally focused on retail, industrial, office and leisure sectors, and has built an enviable track record in these key sectors. Its experience spans from redeveloping convenience stores on behalf of Co-op and Lidl, through to developing large mixed use schemes with leisure, hotels and offices within them. The current development programme is in excess of £150m.

Opus North has access to substantial funding through its shareholder, Palmer Capital, with access to over £700m of investment for commercial property in the UK. Palmer Capital along with Opus and the other eight companies it backs in the UK has a development pipeline of circa £1.5b.
