Opus North acquired the £11m former Walker Morris offices at 12 King Street, Leeds, in December 2019. Works to refurbish the landmark office building were carried out through the pandemic, stripping the former building back to its shell and rebuilding 55,000 sq ft of smart-tech enabled Grade A office space, including a glazed full-height extension at the front, full replacement of the 5th and 6th floors, and construction of a new 7th-floor roof terrace and sky lounge. The building is now almost fully occupied, with only one vacant floor remaining.
